Description
This ready to install Loop On Ground Element is made from our own spec “Omni Flex” wire which is constructed from 22 individual pure copper strands with an overall conductor size of 0.75mm. The insulation is black Polyolefin and is Zero Halogen which is better for you and the environment. The element is very flexible with practically zero memory effect and is rated for use between -25 to +90 Degrees C while still remaining flexible.
You can choose between several different element options:
- 60′ “Omni Flex” element made from 0.75mm pure copper with black insulation – As per KK5JY original design, marked at 15′ intervals with heat shrink and supplied with pre terminated M6 insulated crimps protected with glue lined heat shrink
- 100′ “Omni Flex” element made from 0.75mm pure copper with black insulation – In our experience, better for the low bands, marked at 25′ intervals with heat shrink and supplied with pre terminated M6 insulated crimps protected with glue lined heat shrink
We also include 4 Galvanised Steel ground pegs with each element so you have everything you need to install the element on soft ground.
Ideal for use with our Loop On Ground Transformer (available separately) to create a full, low noise dedicated receive antenna.
